The WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship was the name WWE used when the Raw Tag Team Championship and the SmackDown Tag Team Championship were held and defended together as one set. It began after The Usos won a winner-take-all unification match against RK-Bro at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022, and the champions were treated as the top tag team across both brands.
Even though WWE called it “Undisputed,” it wasn’t a single new title with its own separate history. The champions were holding two championships at the same time, with two physical belts. One was tied to the Raw WWE World Tag Team Championship lineage, and one was tied to the SmackDown WWE Tag Team Championship lineage. That is why some title changes in this era are listed on both title lineages. The run ended when the titles were split again at WrestleMania XL in April 2024, and each belt went back to its own separate lineage.
