WWE‘s WrestleMania 41 was a two-night PLE held on April 19 and 20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada. The card featured 14 matches involving wrestlers from Raw and SmackDown. It was promoted as “WrestleMania Vegas”, with the event concluding a full week of WWE shows, fan activities, and the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.

Night One opened with Gunther defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso. Jey earned the match by winning the 2025 Royal Rumble. Gunther had defeated him in earlier title matches and treated the challenger as someone who was not on his level. Their rivalry became even more personal when Gunther attacked Jey and his family in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania.

The War Raiders defended the World Tag Team Championship against Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day. Kingston and Woods had developed a bitter new attitude after removing Big E from their group. They entered WrestleMania determined to prove that they could still reach the top of the tag team division without him.

Jade Cargill then faced Naomi in a grudge match. Their friendship ended after Naomi admitted that she had attacked Cargill in a parking lot and caused her to miss several months of action.

United States Champion LA Knight defended against Jacob Fatu, who earned the opportunity by defeating Braun Strowman in a Last Man Standing Match. Fatu’s power and wild style made him one of Knight’s most dangerous challengers.

Rey Mysterio had been scheduled to face the masked El Grande Americano, but an injury forced Mysterio out shortly before the show. Rey Fenix took his place, giving both Fenix and Americano their first WrestleMania matches.

Tiffany Stratton defended the WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair. Flair returned from a long injury absence and won the women’s Royal Rumble, allowing her to select a champion to challenge. She chose Stratton, whose rise to the top had been much faster. Their rivalry grew tense and personal as the experienced Flair questioned whether the younger champion was ready for WrestleMania’s biggest stage.

The Night One main event was a Triple Threat Match between Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins. All three men shared years of anger and history. Punk and Rollins had already fought several times, while Reigns returned during one of their matches and attacked them both.

Paul Heyman added another layer to the story. He had spent years beside Reigns, but he also owed Punk a favor for helping Reigns’ team at Survivor Series. The match also gave Punk his first WrestleMania main event.

Night Two opened with Iyo Sky defending the Women’s World Championship against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat Match. Belair earned her opportunity by winning the women’s Elimination Chamber. Ripley had been champion when Iyo Sky defeated her on Raw, but she still held a rematch clause. After a later title match ended without a clear decision, all three women were placed into the WrestleMania contest.

Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre met in a Sin City Street Fight. Their conflict went back to WrestleMania 40, when Priest used his Money in the Bank contract against McIntyre moments after McIntyre had won the World Heavyweight Championship. Their anger continued for the next year and led to several violent fights, including a parking-lot brawl. The street-fight rules allowed them to use weapons and battle outside the ring.

Bron Breakker defended the Intercontinental Championship in a Fatal Four-Way Match against Penta, Finn Bálor, and Dominik Mysterio. It was the first Intercontinental Championship Fatal Four-Way Match in WrestleMania history. Breakker had defeated each challenger in singles competition, but he did not need to be involved in the decision to lose the championship. Tension between Bálor and Mysterio also threatened the unity of The Judgment Day.

Randy Orton had originally been scheduled to face Kevin Owens, but Owens withdrew because of a neck injury. Orton instead issued an open challenge, which was answered by TNA World Champion Joe Hendry. The appearance gave Hendry his WrestleMania debut and continued the working relationship between WWE and TNA.

AJ Styles then faced Logan Paul after Paul eliminated Styles from the Royal Rumble and repeatedly mocked him. The experienced Styles wanted to humble Paul, while Paul aimed to create another major WrestleMania moment.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch. Valkyria had earned the match with Bayley, but Bayley was attacked backstage during WrestleMania weekend. Valkyria was given one day to find a replacement and selected Lynch, who made her return after nearly a year away from WWE.

The final match featured Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defending against John Cena. Cena earned the opportunity by winning the men’s Elimination Chamber. Afterward, he shocked Rhodes by attacking him and joining forces with The Rock and Travis Scott.

Cena entered WrestleMania seeking a record-setting 17th world championship, while Rhodes fought to protect the title he had spent years chasing. Their match closed a weekend surrounded by championship stakes, personal betrayals, major returns, and clashes between different generations of WWE stars.
