Wrestlepalooza 2025 took place on Saturday, September 20, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. It marked the first WWE Premium Live Event (PLE) in the U.S. to stream exclusively on the ESPN app, following the company’s landmark media rights deal. The event also brought back the long-dormant “Wrestlepalooza” name, originally used by ECW in the 1990s, giving it a fresh identity on WWE’s biggest stage.

The card was stacked with high-profile matches. Cody Rhodes defended the Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre as their rivalry continued to intensify. John Cena squared off with Brock Lesnar in another chapter of their two-decade feud, framed as part of Cena’s farewell tour as he prepared to step away from full-time competition.

In the women’s division, Iyo Sky faced Stephanie Vaquer for the vacant WWE Women’s World Championship.
