WWE Sunday Night's Main Event I

WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event was held on September 6, 2026, at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The event brought WWE’s Main Event television special to Sunday night for the first time and featured matches involving wrestlers from Raw and SmackDown.

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton entered the event in the middle of another chapter of their long history together. Their rivalry had resumed after Orton returned at SummerSlam and attacked Rhodes, leading to several confrontations before their singles match was made official for Atlanta.

The card also included Oba Femi against Bron Breakker in their first one-on-one meeting after weeks of confrontations between the two.

The women’s division was represented by a six-woman tag team match with Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum Paxley facing Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab. Their match followed ongoing issues between the two sides on SmackDown, with Paxley joining Flair and Bliss as the rivalry expanded.

Another part of the show involved United States Champion Baron Corbin, Trick Williams, and rapper Lil Yachty. Corbin faced Yachty in a five-minute challenge with an added condition. If Yachty lasted the full five minutes, Williams would receive a United States Championship match against Corbin later that night.

The Sunday Night’s Main Event Countdown also included AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio against Joe Hendry in a non-title match.
