Oba Femi is a Nigerian-born powerhouse whose wrestling style blends explosive strength with athleticism drawn from his decorated collegiate shot-put background.
After signing to WWE’s NIL program in late 2021 and finishing his education at the University of Alabama, he reported to the Performance Center, quickly winning the 2023 NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament and cashing in to capture the NXT North American Championship from Dragon Lee.
As North American Champion, Femi dominated NXT throughout 2024, running up a 30‑match winning streak and setting a record 273‑day reign before finally losing the title to Tony D’Angelo during NXT’s CW run.
He then moved into the main event scene, winning the 2024 Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge, capturing the NXT Championship, and by December 2025 regaining that world title at NXT Deadline, positioning him as one of WWE’s premier young big men and earning top rankings such as No. 14 in the PWI 500 in 2025.
