Career Summary

Baron Corbin is a bruising veteran heavyweight who carries himself like a wandering enforcer, a “Nomad” who hits hard, ties opponents up on the mat, and looks very comfortable hurting people. Longtime fans first knew him as Baron Corbin in WWE, where the former offensive lineman from Northwest Missouri State shifted from the NFL practice squads of the Colts and Cardinals into a full-time wrestling career at the WWE Performance Center.

He rose through NXT in 2012 as a cold, single-minded “Lone Wolf,” then moved to the main roster and built a long run as one of the company’s top villains, winning the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32 and later holding the United States Championship, the Money in the Bank briefcase, and the King of the Ring crown during a thirteen-year WWE stint that also saw him reinvented as “King Corbin” and “Happy Corbin.”

When his WWE deal ended in late 2024, he turned his focus to Brazilian jiu-jitsu and the wider wrestling world, entering IBJJF tournaments and taking double gold at the 2025 Pan Championship at purple belt, results that he now weaves into a grinding, pressure-heavy ring style.

Reborn in early 2025 under the name Bishop Dyer, he adopted the “Nomad” persona and hit the independents, stepping into Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport for GCW and headlining Maple Leaf Pro’s Mayhem event in a World’s Heavyweight Title challenge.

That same year, he debuted in Major League Wrestling (MLW), aligned himself with Donovan Dijak and manager Saint Laurent, and quickly formed The Skyscrapers, a towering team that captured the MLW World Tag Team Championship at Summer of the Beasts by overpowering Los Depredadores.

Corbin returned to WWE on the July 10, 2026 episode of SmackDown, interrupting a match between United States Champion Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes. He attacked both men with End of Days, putting himself back into WWE’s United States Championship picture after nearly two years away from the company.

The return closed his Bishop Dyer run as his main wrestling identity and brought him back to the name and hard-hitting style that defined most of his WWE career.
