Career Summary

Justin Credible is the ring name of Peter Joseph Polaco, an American professional wrestler best known for his runs in ECW and in the WWF/WWE. He debuted in October 1992 and first gained national exposure in the WWF as Aldo Montoya, a masked character presented as “The Portuguese Man O’ War.”

Polaco’s career is most associated with ECW, where he was repackaged into the cocky heel Justin Credible and became a featured act during the promotion’s peak years. He formed The Impact Players with Lance Storm, and the team held the ECW World Tag Team Championship twice in 2000.

He then later captured the ECW World Heavyweight Championship at CyberSlam 2000, defeating Tommy Dreamer in an impromptu title match after Dreamer had just won the belt.

After ECW’s decline, he returned to WWF/WWE as Justin Credible and worked storylines tied to X-Pac and the X-Factor group. His WWE tenure included a brief Hardcore Championship reign during the 24/7-style era of that title.

Over the decades of his wrestling career, he stayed active on the independent circuit, continuing to work as a freelancer well past his prime.
