Ivar (Todd Smith) is a hard‑hitting American power wrestler signed to WWE, where he competes on Raw as one-half of The War Raiders with his longtime partner Erik (Raymond Rowe). Trained by Killer Kowalski, he began in New England indies in 2002, working under names like Handsome Johnny Hayes and Don Chesterfield before adopting the ring name Hanson.

He rose to prominence in Ring of Honor (ROH) with his longtime partner Erik as the tag team War Machine, winning the ROH World Tag Team Championship and later becoming a two-time IWGP Tag Team Champion in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW).

In 2018, he joined WWE under the name Todd Smith, debuting with Raymond Rowe in NXT as The War Raiders. They captured the NXT Tag Team Championship and later moved to the main roster, first as The Viking Experience and then The Viking Raiders.
