Mercedes Moné

Mercedes Moné is an American professional wrestler and actress, widely regarded as one of the greatest women’s wrestlers of all time. She rose to global fame in WWE under the name Sasha Banks, where she became a five-time WWE Raw Women’s Champion and two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, notably teaming with Bayley as The Boss ’n’ Hug Connection.

In NXT, Banks was a top star who helped headline TakeOver events, including the historic 30-minute Iron Man match against Bayley at NXT TakeOver: Respect in 2015, which won Match of the Year from Pro Wrestling Illustrated. On the main roster, she was a key figure in the Women’s Evolution, main-eventing WrestleMania 37 Night 1 with Bianca Belair, the first time two African‑American women headlined WWE’s biggest show.​

After leaving WWE in 2022, she rebranded as Mercedes Moné in New Japan Pro‑Wrestling (NJPW) and Stardom, capturing the IWGP Women’s Championship. She then signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2024, where she became AEW TBS Champion and held the title for a record 584 days, while also winning other titles in NJPW, CMLL, ROH, and numerous independent promotions, becoming the first woman to win championships across WWE, AEW, NJPW, and CMLL.

As Mercedes Moné, she evolved into “The CEO”, where she became a dominant, confident heel who has held up to 13 belts at once, calling herself “Último Moné”. Outside of wrestling, she stars as Koska Reeves in Disney+’s The Mandalorian and has appeared in film and fashion.
