Luke Graham was a classic territorial heel who built his persona around being “Crazy” with wild mannerisms, a taped thumb strike, and brawling offense. He headlined multiple NWA territories and the WWWF, holding numerous regional belts and being part of a key early WWWF tag team championship lineage.
He was portrayed as a kayfabe brother in the Graham family alongside Jerry, Eddie, and, later, Superstar Billy Graham, helping establish one of wrestling’s earliest “family” acts.
After retiring, he briefly teamed with his son Luke Jr. and helped start Galaxy Championship Wrestling in 2001 before his death in 2006.
