Buried Alive Matches

A Buried Alive match is a wrestling match where the only way to win is to bury your opponent under a pile of dirt inside an open grave. There are no pinfalls, submissions, or count-outs. Once a wrestler is trapped in the grave and covered completely, the match ends. The match is usually tied to dark storylines and is meant to symbolize a rival being finished or written out for good.
