Sammy Guevara

Sammy Guevara, is a high-energy, charismatic professional wrestler celebrated for his athletic style and brash persona. Trained by Booker T, he debuted around 2010 and worked through various U.S. independent promotions and internationally, including AAA in Mexico where he won the Cruiserweight and Mixed Tag titles. He signed with AEW at its founding in 2019, quickly becoming a fan favorite and a key member of Chris Jericho’s Inner Circle stable before forming The Sons of Texas group. Guevara is noted for multiple AEW TNT Championship reigns and record-setting matches, including a 5-star rated ladder match against Cody Rhodes at Dynamite – Beach Break in 2022. On August 29, 2025, he won the ROH World Tag Team Championship with Rush, defeating The Outrunners at Death Before Dishonor, after the titles were vacated due to his previous partner’s injury. Outside the ring, he is married to fellow wrestler Tay Melo (featured as Tay Conti). He continues to be a prominent and active competitor in AEW and ROH.
