Indi Hartwell

Samantha De Martin, better known as Indi Hartwell, is a professional wrestler currently signed to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). She began wrestling in Australia in 2016, working for promotions like Riot City Wrestling (RCW), World Series Wrestling (WSW), and Melbourne City Wrestling (MCW).

She collected several regional women’s championships, including RCW and WSW Women’s titles, establishing herself as a solid base‑style worker with surprising agility for her height. Her indie success led to WWE signing her in 2019, where she was assigned to NXT.

On NXT, Hartwell’s profile grew as part of The Way, a faction with Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, and Austin Theory that leaned heavily into comedic skits and long‑form storytelling. Within that group, she combined her quirky and charming personality with credible in‑ring performances.

This led her to win the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship with LeRae and later the NXT Women’s Championship. After moving to the main roster, she spent time on Raw and then SmackDown, but her usage fluctuated amid a crowded division.

WWE released Hartwell in late 2024, after which she quickly re‑established herself on the independent circuit and in TNA, while also capturing titles in promotions like Awesome Championship Wrestling (ACW), Renegades of Wrestling (ROW), and House of Glory (HOG).

Today, she remains a traveling champion, balancing Australian home‑base bookings with North American dates, and is often cited as part of a new wave of Australian women who’ve made an impact in professional wrestling.
