Santino Marella

Anthony Carelli, as Santino Marella, became beloved for his comedic timing and entertaining Italian stereotype character with a humorous edge. Debuting in a surprising way by defeating Umaga for the Intercontinental Championship in his first WWE main roster match, Santino built a career on fun storylines, including his alter ego Santina Marella, his tag team with Vladimir Kozlov, and several title reigns. His wrestling style, which combined solid technical skills with a comedic approach, earned him fan affection during his tenure. After WWE, he transitioned to TNA/Impact Wrestling as an authority figure while still occasionally wrestling. Additionally, he’s active as a martial arts instructor and judo ambassador in Canada.
