Money in the Bank Ladder Matches

A Money in the Bank match is a multi-wrestler ladder match where a briefcase is suspended above the ring. Several competitors take part at the same time, and there are no pinfalls or submissions. The only way to win is to climb a ladder and retrieve the briefcase. The wrestler who pulls down the briefcase becomes the briefcase holder and earns a contract for a future championship match. The contract can be cashed in at a time of the holder’s choosing, giving them the opportunity to challenge a champion for a title.
