The Bloodline

The Bloodline is a WWE stable tied to Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, Paul Heyman, and the larger Anoaʻi wrestling family storyline. The group became one of WWE’s main acts during Reigns’ run as “The Tribal Chief”, with the stable’s story focused on family loyalty, control, championships, and power inside WWE.

The group formed around Roman Reigns after he established himself as the “Head of the Table.” Paul Heyman served as his special counsel, while Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso eventually joined him as The Usos. Together, Reigns and The Usos controlled much of WWE’s main event scene, with Reigns holding the Universal Championship and Undisputed WWE Universal Championship while The Usos held tag team gold.

Solo Sikoa later joined the group as Reigns’ enforcer, giving The Bloodline another family member who could interfere, protect the group’s interests, and help keep Reigns in power. Sami Zayn also became a major part of the stable as the “Honorary Uce”, adding a different layer to the group before his split from Reigns became one of the biggest turning points in the story.

After WrestleMania XL, The Bloodline changed direction. Roman Reigns stepped away from regular television, and Solo Sikoa tried to take control of the group. Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu joined Sikoa’s version of The Bloodline, which led to a power struggle between the original Bloodline and the new lineup. The conflict brought Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Paul Heyman back into the story while the group’s leadership and identity continued to shift.

The Bloodline’s presentation mixes family legacy, championship dominance, betrayal, and internal conflict. It connects several generations of Samoan wrestling history to modern WWE storytelling, making it one of WWE’s most important factions of the 2020s.
