About

The Nation of Domination was a faction in the WWF during the late 1990s, known for its militant attitude, strong group identity, and emphasis on unity and power.

Inspired by themes of Black empowerment and modeled loosely after groups like the Nation of Islam and the Black Panther Party, the stable was originally led by Faarooq and featured members like D’Lo Brown, Kama Mustafa, Mark Henry, Owen Hart, and eventually The Rock, who used the group as a launching pad for his rise to stardom.

The faction played a major role during the early Attitude Era, often feuding with stables like D-Generation X and dominating much of the midcard scene. Over time, the group shifted from its politically charged roots into a more personality-driven entity, especially as The Rock took control and tensions grew within the group.

Although it eventually disbanded, the Nation of Domination helped advance several careers and reflected the shifting tone of wrestling in the late 1990s, pushing boundaries and creating space for more complex characters on WWE programming.
