Money in the Bank Cash-In Matches

A Money in the Bank cash-in match takes place when the wrestler who holds the Money in the Bank briefcase chooses to use it. The briefcase holder has earned the contract by winning a Money in the Bank ladder match and carries the briefcase until deciding to cash it in. When the briefcase holder cashes in, they officially challenge a reigning champion for that title. The match can begin at almost any time, including immediately after another match, and the championship is put on the line as soon as the cash-in is confirmed.
