House of Black

House of Black formed in AEW in 2022 after Brody King joined Malakai Black and re-established their Kings of the Black Throne partnership. Buddy Matthews soon joined, followed by Julia Hart at Double or Nothing on May 29, 2022. Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews won the AEW World Trios Championship in March 2023. Malakai left the group in January 2025, and Brody, Buddy and Julia briefly continued as Hounds of Hell before their separate storylines ended that faction.
