WrestleDream is an annual professional wrestling event produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The series began in 2023 as a tribute to New Japan Pro-Wrestling founder Antonio Inoki and his influence on professional wrestling.
The event has traditionally been held in the fall and features major matches involving AEW championships, rivalries, and wrestlers from across the promotion. Its connection to Inoki and Japanese wrestling has remained part of the series’ presentation, with AEW continuing to recognize his legacy at WrestleDream.
The inaugural event took place in Seattle, Washington, and included Bryan Danielson facing Zack Sabre Jr., Christian Cage defending the TNT Championship against Darby Allin, and Adam Copeland making his AEW debut. Later editions continued WrestleDream as one of AEW’s regular annual pay-per-view events.
