Cruiserweight Open Matches

A Cruiserweight Open Match is a WWE multi-wrestler match used for the Cruiserweight Championship or other cruiserweight competition. The number of participants and exact rules can vary between matches. Some Cruiserweight Opens have all wrestlers compete at the same time, with the first pinfall or submission deciding the winner. Others use a gauntlet-style format where wrestlers enter in sequence and are eliminated until one competitor remains. Because of those differences, the Cruiserweight Open name describes the overall match concept rather than one fixed set of rules.
