Site Policies
Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of WrestlingProfiles.com, operated by WrestlingProfiles.com. By visiting the site or creating an account, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
This page also contains our Community Guidelines and our Copyright and DMCA policy. How we handle personal information is covered separately in the Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and Accounts
Anyone may browse Wrestling Profiles. To create a member account you must be at least 13 years old and must not have been previously banned from the site. Registration asks for a date of birth so the minimum age can be checked.
- Provide accurate registration information and keep your password secure.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- One account per person. Additional accounts created to inflate ratings, pad prediction leaderboards, or evade a ban will be removed.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Post content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, sexually explicit, or unlawful
- Post private information about wrestlers, staff, or other members, including home addresses, phone numbers, and medical details
- Impersonate a wrestler, promotion, journalist, or another member
- Spam, advertise, or link to pirated streams or downloads
- Manipulate ratings, reviews, rankings, or prediction standings through duplicate accounts, bots, or coordinated voting
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-copy the database for republication or to build a competing service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its servers, or other members’ accounts
- Interfere with normal operation of the site, including by overloading it with automated requests
Community Guidelines
Wrestling fans argue. That’s half the fun. These guidelines exist so the arguing stays about wrestling and the database stays trustworthy. They apply to reviews, ranking lists, predictions, and anything else you post.
Treat Other Members Well
- Disagree with the take, not the person. “This match is overrated because the finish made no sense” is a review. “You’re an idiot for liking this” is not.
- No harassment, threats, or pile-ons.
- No slurs or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
Respect the Real People Behind the Characters
Wrestlers are performers, and performers are fair game for criticism of their work. They are also human beings.
- Critique in-ring work, promos, booking, and career decisions freely.
- Don’t post private information that hasn’t been publicly and voluntarily shared.
- Don’t post unverified allegations about crimes, addiction, affairs, or health as though they were fact. If something is a rumor, we don’t host it.
- Be thoughtful writing about wrestlers who have died, and about deaths, injuries, and addiction generally.
- Keep storyline and reality separate. A heel is not a villain in real life.
Keep the Data Honest
The value of this site is that the numbers mean something.
- One account per person, and no additional accounts to boost or bury a rating.
- No organized brigades to mass-downvote a wrestler, match, or event.
- No bots, scripts, or automated tools for ratings, reviews, or predictions.
- Rate what you have actually seen. A 1/10 on a match you never watched isn’t an opinion, it’s noise.
Accounts caught manipulating ratings or leaderboards will have their contributions removed and their standings reset.
Write Reviews Worth Reading
- Say something. “Trash” is a rating, not a review.
- For events in the last seven days, put a spoiler warning at the top of your review.
- Don’t copy and paste reviews or profile text from other sites. Write your own.
- Keep it in English so the whole community can read it.
Corrections Belong in the Contact Form
If a profile has the wrong date, a missing title reign, or an incorrect result, don’t put it in a review — send it through the contact form with a source. That way it actually gets fixed.
How We Enforce This
We generally escalate: content removal, then a warning, then suspension, then a permanent ban. Serious violations — threats, doxxing, sexual content involving minors, coordinated manipulation — skip straight to a permanent ban. Evading a ban with a new account is itself a violation.
If you think we got a moderation decision wrong, contact us and explain why. We’ll take a second look. We don’t promise to reverse decisions, but we do promise to read the appeal.
Content You Post
You keep ownership of the reviews, rankings, comments, and other content you submit. By posting it, you grant Wrestling Profiles a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, reproduce, and distribute that content on the site and in site promotion. This license lasts as long as your content remains on the site and ends when you delete it, except for copies already made in backups or reflected in aggregate statistics.
You confirm that anything you post is yours to post and doesn’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
We may remove or edit content that violates these Terms, but we are not obligated to monitor or pre-screen member content.
Our Content and Trademarks
The site’s original text, layout, design, code, and the selection, arrangement, and structure of the database are owned by Wrestling Profiles and protected by copyright. You are welcome to link to our pages and to quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions of the database without written permission.
Wrestler names, likenesses, promotion names, championship names, logos, and event names are the trademarks and property of their respective owners, used here for identification, commentary, and historical reference. Wrestling Profiles is an independent project and isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WWE, All Elite Wrestling, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, the National Wrestling Alliance, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, or any other promotion.
Images such as profile photos, championship belt images, and event posters are used in a reference and commentary context, at modest resolution, to identify the subject of the page. Nothing here substitutes for a copyright owner’s own products, and we don’t host, stream, or link to full matches or events. If you own copyright in material used on the site and would prefer it not be used here, tell us through the contact form — in most cases we’ll remove or replace it promptly.
Accuracy of Information
We work hard to get wrestling history right, but records from many eras are incomplete or contradictory, and results and storylines change constantly. The site is provided for informational and entertainment purposes with no guarantee of accuracy or completeness. If you spot an error, please report it through the contact form.
Ratings, reviews, and ranking lists are the opinions of individual members, not statements by Wrestling Profiles.
Predictions
The prediction game is a free feature for entertainment only. There is no entry fee, no wagering, no purchase of any kind, and no cash or prize payout. Points and leaderboard positions have no monetary value. We may correct scores, void an event, or reset standings where results are disputed or cheating is detected.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your own account at any time from your account page or by contacting us.
Deleting your account removes your profile details. Ratings and reviews may be retained in anonymized form so that averages and historical rankings stay accurate, unless you ask us to remove them entirely.
Disclaimers and Liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wrestling Profiles and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the site.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wrestling Profiles and its operator from any claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of content you post or your violation of these Terms.
The site links to external websites we don’t control. We’re not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.
Changes and General Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Wrestling Profiles regarding use of the site. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a provision straight away, that isn’t a waiver of our right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone else; we may transfer ours if the site changes hands.
