Danhausen is an American professional wrestler best known for his horror-comedy character, a strange, face-painted figure who speaks in the third person, asks for “monies,” carries jars of teeth, curses opponents, and calls himself “very nice, very evil.”
He began wrestling in 2013 under names including Donovan Danger and Donovan Danhausen before fully developing the Danhausen character in the independent scene. His act grew through Ring of Honor (ROH), where he became one of the company’s most recognizable late-era personalities and won ROH’s 2020 Best New Star award.
Danhausen signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2022, debuting during the Beach Break episode of Dynamite. In AEW, he was tied most closely to HOOK through the HOOKhausen tag team and to Best Friends, which connected him with Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta, Kris Statlander, and Wheeler Yuta.
He also won the 2023 AEW Casino Tag Team Royale with Orange Cassidy. After a long stretch of limited AEW use and outside appearances, he moved to WWE in 2026. His WWE debut came at Elimination Chamber 2026, and he quickly became involved with The Miz and Kit Wilson on SmackDown.
